The 25-year-old complained of a shortage of breath during Bayern Munich training and was taken to hospital to undergo further assessment. It was there that tests showed that Coman had an irregular heartbeat, which essentially means that the electrical signals that coordinate the heart's beat were either causing it to go too fast or too slow. In Coman's case, it was the former.
